About Hope For Tomorrow:

Hope for Tomorrow (HOPE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing health care, human services and educational assistance to the underprivileged communities. The HOPE team collaborates with various groups and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to deliver humanitarian goods, services and relief to impoverished regions. The team is comprised of professionals with a broad spectrum of experiences. The combined mission trips of our team span across North America, South America, South Africa, and South East Asia, bringing a variety of general and specialized disciplines to each region.

Hope For Tomorrow team will be hosting its third benefit concert. This year, the Hope Concert 2008 will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Northern Virginia Community College, Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall. The event will feature famous Vietnamese performers such as Tran Thu Ha, Bang Kieu, Ngoc Ha and Khanh Ha. The MC will be Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen. The chamber music group leader will be Nguyen Quang, a notable composer and pianist. We have a special appearance by Nguyen Anh 9, renowned composer and pianist from Vietnam.

For the past three years, the HOPE team has engaged in various projects. The projects include medical and dental missions, participating in local health fairs, producing three successful concerts and more. Aside from the projects, HOPE’s strength is its network of partners. The following organizations are either HOPE partners or HOPE beneficiaries: Asian American Success, Foundation for the Children of Vietnam, Global Community Services Foundation , Journey for Children, Maison Chance, Operation Smile, Vietnamese American Medical Society of Northeast America, Vietnam Assistance for the Handicapped and World Health Ambassador. Each of the partners or beneficiaries enhanced HOPE’s ability to offer health and human services to the under privileged community.

Providing health and human services is HOPE’s corner stone. HOPE is progressing strongly because of a strong corner stone and foundation. During its growth period, HOPE has refined its process and expanded its reach. Today, HOPE is focused on three core initiatives:

  1. Health and Human Services: HOPE continues to provide needed health and human services to the disadvantage community.
  2. Hope Youth Network: To create a new generation of leaders, the Hope Youth Network was established. The youth network will strive to instill leadership, character, moral and ethics in its member through community works and volunteerism.
  3. Community Building : In the Community Building initiative, HOPE will work with several partners to create a public private partnership to help build community centers . The centers will be a magnet for community activities. Additionally, the center will serve as a gathering place for seniors in the community.
